What we teach

We offer a safe, secure and encouraging learning environment where children feel safe. Their understanding of safeguarding and how to stay safe is developed through our core nursery values, PSHE, teaching and learning opportunities and work with other agencies and the community.

Online Safety

The internet is an exciting and fun place for children to use and explore educationally and socially. The challenge for parents and teachers, is to make sure that children are aware and understand how to be safe when using the internet and related technologies.

At Broomhall Nursery we take the safety of children very seriously and this includes online safety.

We are committed to making sure that the children are able to interact safely and with minimal risk when using technology within the nursery. We teach about using technology in a safe way and use technology to enhance our teaching. You can find our Online Safety policy below

Here are some resources which may help you as a parent keep your child safe when using technology. You can also achieve a 'digital 5 a day' using practical steps to help your child achieve a healthy digital diet- see the link below
