Our charges from September 2015 will be £5.50 per hour for each hour over and above
the Free Early Learning entitlement. Our Breakfast Club, Lunch and Tea Club sessions
are all charged at the standard rate of £5.50 per hour or part hour. All fees are
payable 4 weekly in advance and are applicable even when a child is absent whether
this is due to illness, holiday or parental choice. Parents are required to give
4 weeks notice to cancel or alter sessions.
3 and 4 year old children are entitled to a maximum of 15 hours free early learning
per week during term time (e.g. 38 weeks per year) until they start school. We offer
the Free Early Learning entitlement during our core morning and afternoon sessions.
Your 15 hour entitlement to free early learning can be split between no more than
two childcare providers who will claim the funding on your behalf. At the start of
each term you will be asked to sign a Parental Agreement Form to confirm how many
hours per week and weeks of the term you intend your child to attend. You will also
be asked to show your child’s birth certificate or passport as proof of I.D.
Your child’s funding is linked to attendance. In some circumstances it will be paid
even if they are absent e.g. if they are ill. If you take a family holiday during
the 38 funded weeks, only the first three weeks of your holiday will be funded each
year. If you wish to move nursery partway through a term you will be asked to give
4 weeks notice and will not be able to claim funding at another provider during this
time. For further information please see our Admissions Policy & Procedure.
Children who attend a lunchtime session can either bring a packed lunch from home
or order a hot dinner. Our hot meals are provided by Taylor Shaw, the Sheffield School
If you would like your child to have a hot dinner then please complete a copy of
the hot lunch request form and return it to the office.
Our menu changes daily on a three week rotation. We offer meat and vegetarian options
and by arrangement can accommodate special dietary requirements where there is a
clear medical need.
