Broomhall Nursery and Children’s Centre is one of only 3 sites in the City with a stand alone Nursery School funded by the Local Authority.
Our site is based around a large and once grand house on the outskirts of the city
centre -
The nursery opened in 1930 and is now the oldest Nursery School in Sheffield. We hope to add more details of the building’s history to this website in the future. PERHAPS YOU CAN HELP?
Within the Nursery we are staffed exclusively by teachers educated to degree standard in nursery education and NNEB Nursery Nurses providing a learning and play experience that OfSTED describe as good to outstanding. Click here to see their full report.
